Christmas In July!

Christmas? Who can think about Christmas when it's the hottest day of the year (this afternoon in Central Ontario it is 33C and 46C with the humidity which is 91F and 115F with the humidity) but that is what I am doing! Thank goodness for central air (otherwise I might not be so gung-ho) but I'm inside the cool house, the kids are playing and I'm listening to music and working on the laptop. I'm making Christmas presents!!!!

Heritage Makers has so many neat things to make...I can make a hard-cover photobook (or storybook) about people on my Christmas list, or books about my kids for their grandparents but it goes so much further than that!

Using a "traditional" 12 X 12 scrapbook page I can design a clock, then go to my local department store and by a clock for $10, take the inside clock paper out and insert my own and voila! A personalised clock!

Using the scrapbook page I can make smaller squares on it and cut them out and modge podge them to ceramic tiles...makes a nice picture to hang on the wall or stand in a plate stand or use them as coasters.

I could be here all day listing all the many ideas...basically, if you can think it up you can probably do it! Go to www.lifetimetreasuries.com and check out the template gallery...SO many ideas!

Even better...would you like to get some (or all) of your gifts for FREE?????? If you are in the Peterborough area, contact me to see about hosting a workshop...it only takes an hour, we can even have it outside on a nice day and you earn free publishing credits! It just doesn't get any better than that...

If you are not in the area but would like to earn credits, I have something for you too! Host a "Virtual Workshop" and earn publishing credits!

Watch this space for more ideas in the upcoming days...and I'll post some pictures of products as well! If you are in the Peterborough area, I will be at the Peterborough Celtic Festival...come by and see me and see some samples!
